interior-design-bd.com is an independent info blog about small-space and budget interior design, run by Azmi Mhamed from Meknes, Morocco. BD stands for Budget Design (not Bangladesh): compact-living lessons from Moroccan homes, now written for France and Morocco.
Languages & markets
We publish in French for readers in France and Morocco, and in Darija (latin script only, no Arabic) for readers in Morocco. Our 72 English guides from June–September 2026 stay online as an archive and are gradually adapted — not machine-duplicated — into French and Latin Darija with local prices and suppliers.
- France: prices in EUR, 2026 estimates, French store chains and NF C 15-100 electrical rules. Paris/large-city labor is higher than provinces — always compare locally.
- Morocco: prices in MAD, 2026 Meknes/Casablanca market estimates from supplier and contractor quotes, souk vs IKEA vs carpenter sourcing.
- Language choice: no auto-redirect by IP. You pick French, Darija, or English in the menu. Each language version is a full human adaptation, not a raw translation — see our Editorial Policy.

Every article is written and reviewed by Azmi Mhamed, checked for accuracy, and updated yearly (last site-wide review: September 2026; France/Morocco pivot: October 2026). AI tools may assist with drafting and structure, but every guide — French, Darija, or English — is rewritten with our own measurements and budgets, fact-checked, and approved by Azmi before publication — no unreviewed AI content or unreviewed machine translation is published. We do not scrape content. Photos are original or properly licensed (see photo credits on each post). We currently use no affiliate links.
